The times shown are hh:mm, and are the total of all sessions, average session, and longest session
for that controller for the specified category. Sessions are recorded for the date the controller logged in, even if the session
ended on the next day (i.e., the session extended past midnight UTC). All dates start and end at midnight UTC. For example, a
session starting on January 30, 2007 at 8:00 PM EST is logged for January 31st, since 8:00 PM EST is 1:00 AM UTC on the next day.
The numbers next to the rank show the controller's change in rank from the previous period. If a year and month is
selected, then change in rank is relative to the previous month. If only a year is selected, then the change in
rank is relative to the previous year. If there is no change in rank shown, then the controller did not have
any recorded time for the previous period. For example, if '+2' is shown next to a controller's rank, then
during the previous period that controller was two positions lower in rank (in other words, he has increased
his rank by two positions for the current period). A '+0' means his rank is the same as compared to the previous
period. A '-3' means that the current period's rank is three positions lower than the previous period.
If no controller is shown beginning at a specific rank, then there are no further
controllers who have staffed a position within that category for the specified period. This is common at the
beginning of a new period.
For all but "Top 10 Staff, INS & MTR", only ATC time is considered. ATC time is time logged
as 'CTR', 'APP', 'DEP', 'TWR', 'GND' and 'DEL', except when logging that time as an instructor or mentor. For "Top 10 Staff, INS & MTR",
only time logged in a staff role, as an instructor or as a mentor is considered. |
